Youth Exchange on Cultures

The youth exchange will be focusing on different cultures. The project aims to promote open-mindedness and acceptance of others. The association wants to provide a platform for young individuals across the continent to share their perspectives on their own traditions and culture. Throughout the eight days, they will be encouraged to represent their home countries, and provide an insight into their communities’ history, customs, fairy tales, and many more. Furthermore, at the end of the project, the participants will organize a local event, where they can prepare small games and activities for the public and test their entrepreneurial skills.

During the youth exchange, we will have a mix of theory and practice, as well as national and international group work. After the first day, where the focus will be on ice-breaking and getting to know each other, we aim to utilize non-formal educational tools to enhance the participants’ knowledge of the topic, and different cultures. Throughout the 8 days, the participants will have the chance to represent and promote their own cultures, as well as a chance to learn about other ones.

Participants will also have the opportunity to organize a local event, which will be open to the public. During this event, the local community will get to know the participants’ cultures. Methods and specific activities for this event will be selected by the participants.

The youth exchange will be organized between 6-15th of October, including travel days. You can read more by clicking HERE.
