In 2025 between March 6th and 12th, we host an Erasmus+ training course on “How to Be a Greenpreneur”, welcoming participants from six countries including Spain, Greece, Slovakia, Croatia, Latvia and Romania to Cristuru Secuiesc. The week-long program provide hands-on experiences, practical knowledge, and inspiring discussions about green entrepreneurship, sustainability, and business development.<\/strong> Below is a report of our first four days:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 1<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The training kicked off with icebreakers and team-building activities to create a collaborative environment. Then, we took our discussions outdoors, talking about the role of local and green businesses. We introduced Erasmus+ and created a ReflecTree, where participants wrote down their hopes, fears, and contributions for the project, helping define their learning goals for Youthpass and daily diaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, participants explored Cristuru Secuiesc through an interactive treasure hunt, learning about the local culture and even picking up some Hungarian words! The day ended with an intercultural night, where our Spanish and Slovakian friends presented their countries, taught us traditional dances, and shared local dishes and snacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 2<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We started the day with a workshop on green entrepreneurship and green jobs, laying the foundation for the week. Then, we visited local businesses:
– Kereszt\u00fari dairy plant \u2013 learning about milk processing, sour cream, and cheese-making, followed by a tasting session.
– Fruit processing plant \u2013 where they produce natural juices and p\u00e1linka, using local fruits and recycling leftovers into compost. Participants even got to taste apple and plum products!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, the Greek team \ud83c\uddec\ud83c\uddf7 led a workshop on sustainability and an interactive quiz. The day wrapped up with a Greek & Croatian intercultural night, where we enjoyed presentations, quizzes, dances, and traditional food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 3<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The morning started with a visit to the local market, where city manager Zsolt Sebesty\u00e9n explained its history and future green initiatives. Participants also supported small businesses by purchasing their products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, the Slovakian team introduced green start-ups and engaged participants in the Banana Split game to explore importation challenges. The Spanish team facilitated a World Caf\u00e9 session, discussing sustainability topics like circular economy, zero waste, renewable energy, and sustainable mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the evening, since it was March 8 \u2013 International Women’s Day, the male participants surprised everyone with sweets and cakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 4<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On day four, the Croatian, Latvian, and Spanish teams led interactive workshops:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– The Croatian team introduced the 4Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Return and challenged participants to design green start-ups incorporating at least two Rs.
– The Latvian team ran a business simulation, where participants pitched green business ideas to investors and negotiated funding.
– The Spanish team presented innovative agricultural solutions focused on reducing water consumption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To unwind, we visited Sighisoara, explored the medieval city, rest and enjoyed local food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
