(1) with Valeria and Julia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sz\u00e9kelyudvarhely is the second most important city of Harghita\u00b4s county and therefore it is one of the historical centers of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sz%C3%A9kely_Land\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sz\u00e9kely Land<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>M\u00e1rton \u00c1ron Square<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cM\u00e1rton \u00c1ron Square\u201d is the Sz\u00e9kelyudvarhely\u2019s central square, and generally festivals and political events take place in there. M\u00e1rton \u00c1ron, who give the name to this square, was a bishop and an historical symbol of the revolution against communism.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While entering in the square, you meet a big statue of a soldier. Fun fact: the sculpture was originally made of wood. Just during the WW I, in order to raise funds to support the army, some people were standing under the statue, collecting donations and, as a symbolic sign, every donor hammed in a metal nail on the statue. At one point the statue happened to be completely covered with nails, so it was decided to replace the old wooden sculpture with a new metal one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Ha\u00e1z Rezs\u0151 Museum<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The \u201cHa\u00e1z Rezs\u0151 Museum\u201d is one of the eldest museum of ethnography, local history, art and natural science of the Odorheiu Region. The museum\u2019s seat is the Haberstumpf cottage. It was built in 1900 and it was used by the Haberstumpf family as a summer cottage. In town the eldest structure is the Franciscan Christian church, inside it has a baroque style and outside is interesting to see a monument that commemorates the first\u00a0Hungarian\u00a0revolution (1956) against the communist regime. Also, there are other churches such as Orthodox, Unitarian and Catholic. An interesting fact: The \u201cSzent Mikl\u00f3s\u201d Church is located in the highest point of the city. Both Protestants and Catholics were claiming for its property &#8211; at the end it became a catholic church..
